donations to the Christmas Bowl. Today’s story comes from Indonesia.
In Central Sulawesi, Indonesia, Eko*, his wife Mega*, and their daughter Dewi* have faced multiple floods that devastated their rice fields and community. The floods washed away seeds and fertiliser, damaging rice fields, and leaving behind thick debris that made farming almost impossible. But through the support of the Christmas Bowl, Eko and Mega joined the DREAM program, led by Act for Peace’s local partner helping communities adapt to climate change and build resilience against disasters. Thanks to the support of the Christmas Bowl, farmers like Eko are building resilience and growing a future where their families can thrive. Pray for communities in Indonesia facing growing impacts of climate change – floods, storms and rising seas, that they may find safety and stability.
