An opportunity for people to prepare for Good Friday and Easter, the church sanctuary will be transformed with the artworks of Scott Erickson during Holy Week. His series of artworks, titled “Stations in the Street”, along with readings and questions for reflection, will invite people to retrace Jesus’ final steps in Jerusalem to his crucifixion. At times challenging and confronting, thoughtful and comforting, the space allows anyone who enters to consider elements, ideas, and objects from Jesus’ journey to the cross and in doing so also reflect on their place in the passion narrative and how Jesus’ experiences are reflected in our own lives and how we live out our faith.
With 3 sessions – 5-7pm on Monday 25, Tuesday 26, and Wednesday 27 March – at the WUCB Kennington Campus we hope you can join us to Enter the journey to Good Friday and beyond.
