Dear God,
As we proceed through this time of physical separation we think of the different situations people are in and the challenges each of us face.
Those living alone, with little contact with others.
Those living with others, feeling they can’t find space of their own.
Those in city/town settings, with little space for recreation.
Those in rural settings, with separation and distance feeling greater than ever.
We recognise that all are being challenged in this time, and that each challenge can sometimes be heard to relate to when it is not our own. May we have compassion for others, and the challenges they face, and compassion for ourselves in dealing with our own situations. May we each feel loved and find ways for meaningful connection, whatever our setting. Amen.
